In September 2024, Samsung launched the Galaxy A06 in India. For its price, the phone shines in all areas except one, and that’s connectivity. It lacks support for 5G connectivity, which is a bummer in an era where even the most affordable smartphones are offering it. After receiving a lot of backlash for it, it looks like Samsung is finally planning to launch the 5G version of the phone in the country, and you guessed it right; it will arrive as the Galaxy A06 5G.
On X, @Sudhanshu1414 claims that Samsung will soon launch the Galaxy A06 5G in India. The tipster has also posted specifications of the smartphone. You can check them out below.

Differences between Galaxy A06 and Galaxy A06 5G
Going by these specifications, there seem to be two major differences between the Galaxy A06 and the Galaxy A06 5G, processor and the number of software updates. The former features MediaTek Helio G85 and will get two new versions of the OS and security updates for two years. Whereas, the latter has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and will allegedly get four new versions of the OS and security updates for four years.
