Samsung's Bespoke Jet stick vacuums have numerous smart capabilities that separate them from ordinary cordless stick vacuum cleaners. The diagnosis tool is among those clever features. It lets you know if there's anything wrong with your Samsung vacuum or brush and provides instructions on fixing any issues that might crop up. Here is everything you need to know.
The first thing to be aware of is that the diagnosis tool is available only for Samsung Jet stick vacuums that integrate with the SmartThings platform. In other words, diagnosis is only available for Bespoke Jet stick vacuums that come with the All-in-One Clean Station.

The self-diagnosis program will run automatically after you place the Jet stick vacuum in the All-in-One Clean Station. Once you place the vacuum back in, the auto-empty process begins. After that, the Bespoke vacuum will run a diagnostic.
There are a few details worth noting, such as:
- The self-diagnosis program will not run if the vacuum is out of the Clean Station for less than one minute before you place it back in. However, you can start the diagnosis manually at any time.
- The self-diagnosis program only works when you have a floor brush attached to the vacuum cleaner. It supports brushes such as the Active Dual Brush and the Slim LED Brush+, but doesn't work with the Pet Tool+, the Combination tool, Long Reach Crevice Tool, etc.
If you place the Bespoke Jet stick vacuum in the All-in-One Clean Station with one of the brushes that don't support diagnosis, you will see the following message on the LED panel: Connect floor brush to run diagnosis.

If the vacuum is fitted with one of the supported floor brushes, the diagnosis will start automatically and run for less than a minute. You will receive the Diagnosis complete, Ready for use message at the end — assuming there's nothing wrong with your vacuum. You can press the power button on the vacuum to dismiss the message.

Other details you should know about your Samsung Bespoke Jet stick vacuum's diagnosis tool are:
- The diagnosis program can be started or stopped manually by pressing the Start/Stop button on the Clean Station.
- You can also start the diagnosis program by opening the SmartThings app on your mobile device, selecting your Bespoke Jet stick vacuum from your list of devices, accessing the Service tab, tapping Care status, selecting Self-diagnosis, and pressing Start now.
If you buy a new Samsung Bespoke Jet vacuum cleaner, this is why it will run automatically for a while once you plug it in. Don't fret. It's just the auto-empty and diagnosis program doing its thing.
