The Galaxy Jump 3 (also known as the Galaxy M44), featuring the Snapdragon 888 chip, is getting the second major Android OS update since its release. The phone, which was launched exclusively in South Korea, has received the Android 15-based One UI 7 update.
The new software also includes the newest security patch that is currently available.
Galaxy Jump 3 gets Android 15 and One UI 7 update
The Android 15 and One UI 7 update has been released for the Galaxy Jump 4 (SM-M446K). The update comes bearing firmware version M446KKSU5DYE2 and has a download size of over 2.5GB. It includes the May 2025 security patch as well that makes the phone more secure.

Galaxy Buddy 3 users can check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, hit the ‘Install Now' button, and the phone will shut down, install the update, and restart in a few minutes.
The Galaxy Jump 3 was launched in South Korea in late 2023 through the national carrier KT. It come with Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 software onboard. Soon after its launch, the phone received the Android 14-based One UI 6 update in January 2024. In May 2025, it received the One UI 6.1 update with lots of new features.
One UI 7 features for Galaxy Jump 3
The One UI 7 update brings a new UI design, featuring two separate pages for Notifications and Quick Panel. Notifications appear in bigger, pill-shaped elements that can appear in a stacked arrangement for multiple notifications from the same app. Quick Panel is now a lot more customizable and includes the volume slider.
Samsung has also introduced new app icons, more fluid and playful animations and transitions, a new battery charging animation, a new battery icon in the status bar, new widgets for the lock screen and the home screen, and more widget cusomization features.
It also brings the Now Bar that shows ongoing and live activities, such as media playback, maps navigation, stopwatch, and timer. It appears on the lock screen and as a pill-shaped chip in the status bar. There are dozens of new features that One UI 7 brings to the Galaxy Jump 3.
