It's called the Galaxy S25 Edge, and even though Samsung teased it and had it on display for Unpacked attendees to see, most of the phone's technical details have not yet been officially confirmed.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is a brand-new entry into the Galaxy S series. There's never been an Edge phone before, so you can bet there is a lot of buzz around this one. Many specs have been speculated upon and leaked, and if you want to catch up on the latest rumors and reports, you will find a full recap below.
This story will be updated as new information about the Galaxy S25 Edge emerges.
Everything you should know about the Galaxy S25 Edge
One of the most unique features of the Galaxy S25 Edge is its slim profile, which is why industry watchers used to refer to this phone as the “Galaxy S25 Slim” before Unpacked.
Even so, nobody knows precisely how thin the Galaxy S25 Edge will be once it goes on sale. Samsung said the design demonstrated at Unpacked is subject to change, but the demo unit looked very skinny.
Initial rumors said the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a 6.4mm profile, but later leaks revealed Samsung's much more ambitious plans. The Galaxy S25 Edge might measure only 5.8mm.
Spec-wise, the Galaxy S25 Edge should share some DNA with the rest of the series. And while it was initially believed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will use the 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, more recent information points at the same 8-core chip the rest of the premium series uses.
Here is a full recap of every bit of hardware and software information on the Galaxy S25 Elite that has leaked or has been rumored so far:

- Prices for the Galaxy S25 Edge reportedly hover around $1,049 for the 256GB model and $1,140 for the 512GB variant.
All in all, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be a reinterpretation of the Samsung premium phone formula — one we haven't had before. It's something new, and it kind of shows that Samsung is still willing to step outside its comfort zone. Whether or not the phone and Samsung's efforts will be worth it remains to be determined.
