It looks like Samsung is racing to bring One UI 7 (Android 15) to as many devices as possible before June. The company started this week off with a bang, releasing the update to several mid-range and budget phones and tablets, and it is also making the update available more widely for some devices.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ first received the One UI 7 update on May 14 in Korea, and now, less than a week later, owners of the two tablets in Europe can make the upgrade as well. The update is a ~3.6GB download over the air and includes the April 2025 security patch in addition to various One UI 7 features.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablet, you can now install the new update by heading into its Settings » Software update menu and tap Download and install.
This update brings several new features, a redesigned UI with fluid animations and transitions, new app icons, new widgets, and faster Gemini access to the mid-range tablets.
