Wear OS smartwatches, such as Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra, offer Google Assistant, which can do a lot of things for you. This is a very useful feature for these devices as using their tiny screen to perform lengthy tasks isn’t convenient. Soon, Google is going to replace it with Gemini, which will be more helpful. As it turns out, the brand is also working on making accessing virtual assistants on Wear OS easier, which will make it more convenient for you to use it to get tasks done.
Folks at Android Authority dug deep into the Google app for Android (version 16.14.39) and found that it mentions a feature called Raise To Talk for smartwatches. Going by the name, it looks like this feature will summon Google Assistant or Gemini as soon as you raise your hand to look at your Galaxy Watch or use it. You can then talk to the virtual assistant, ask it questions, or command it to perform a task. Apple Watches already offer this feature, and it is called Raise To Speak.

Galaxy Watch models may get Raise To Talk with Wear OS 6 and One UI 7 Watch
Currently, there’s no information about when Google will add this feature to Wear OS. We expect the brand to offer it to users with the Wear OS 6 update. It means that Samsung Galaxy Watch users will get it with One UI 7 Watch.
Google and Samsung may also offer this feature as an option as not everyone may want their Wear OS smartwatch to bring up Google Assistant or Gemini as soon as they raise their hand. Instead, they may want to use the wearable.
Samsung's Galaxy Watch Ultra now available for just $378. Grab the deal now.
