Galaxy Z Fold 7 bezels could be thinner than Galaxy S25 Ultra’s

Just last week, it was revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the world's thinnest foldable phone when it launches after a couple of months. Another report now claims that Samsung has managed to reduce the phone's bezels, and they could be even thinner than the ones on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to reliable tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the bezels around the Galaxy Z Fold 7's inner display are just around 1mm thin. That is thinner than or as thin as the bezels on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 6's bezels are 1.9mm thin, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra's bezels are around 1.32mm thin.

The tipster also revealed the complete dimensions of the phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 reportedly measures 158.4 x 143.1mm when it is unfolded. That makes it taller and wider than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. A taller and wider body and thinner bezels mean that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a bigger display than its predecessor. Rumours claim that the phone will have an 8.2-inch inner screen. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also reportedly getting its bezels trimmed compared to its predecessor. The bezels around the phone's outer screen will reportedly be 1.2mm thin, making it thinner than the ones on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It falls in line with previous rumours that claimed that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have a 4-inch cover screen, which is bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip 6's 3.4-inch cover screen.

Samsung is said to have increased the Galaxy Z Flip 7's inner screen size to 6.85 inches, making it bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip 6's 6.7-inch screen. You can read more about the upcoming flip phone here.
