Google finally makes Chrome's bottom address bar official on Android
Chrome for Android just got easier to use one-handed
Google's experiment with moving the address bar in Chrome for Android to the bottom started back in 2016. After an on-off, on-off testing phase, the company reintroduced the feature in 2023, but only for iPhone users. After a few years of being hidden behind a flag, Google rolled out the option in Chrome for Android's stable build in April this year, albeit not for all. Now, nearly two months later, the feature is finally going official.
