Marshall Heston 120 soundbar brings Dolby Atmos and classic amp style for $999

The Marshall Heston 120 soundbar is finally here, marking Marshall’s first entry into the TV audio scene after decades of amps and speakers. It is loaded with 11 drivers for wide, cinematic sound and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, so you get spatial audio for both movies and music. Priced at $999.99 and available only in black, it goes on sale June 3, 2025.

Marshall has been making amps, speakers, and headphones for 60 years, but this is its first crack at a soundbar. Measuring 43.3 inches wide, the Heston 120 is built for TV and music. It works with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE (including Auracast), HDMI eARC, RCA, and even has an Ethernet port. There’s an output for a subwoofer, too.

True to form, the Marshall Heston 120 soundbar matches the brand’s classic look—wrapped leather, tactile knobs, and a brushed metal panel. The controls are all old-school, but there’s a modern twist: the Marshall app lets you adjust sound profiles, tweak EQ, and even calibrate the soundbar for your room. You’ll also find support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify, Tidal, and internet radio. Just don’t expect voice control—the built-in mics are only for room calibration.

Marshall is also promising some modularity, with parts like drivers and end caps that are user-replaceable, though it’s unclear how long replacements will be available. Wall mounts are optional, not included.

The Marshall Heston 120 soundbar launches June 2025, setting the stage for more Marshall home audio gear down the road.
