Samsung has expanded the reach of the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A15 (4G). Last week, South Korean Galaxy A15 users became the first to get the taste of One UI 7. Now, the update is rolling out in several more countries across Asia, Oceania, and North America.

Galaxy A15 (4G) gets One UI 7 (Android 15) update
The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update is rolling out now to the Galaxy A15 (4G) in Asia, parts of Europe, and North America. The update has a download size of around 3GB, and it varies slightly, depending on the country and region.
The new update comes with firwmare version A155FXXU6CYE3 in Caucasus countries, Iraq, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, the UAE, and Vietnam. In the Caribbean, the phone is getting the update with firmware version A155MUBU6CYE3. It also brings the May 2025 security patch to make the phone more secure.


If you live in any of the countries or regions mentioned above and own a Galaxy A15, you should check for the new update on your phone. To do that, head over to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install Now button, and your phone will then restart after a few minutes, after which you can start using One UI 7 and all its new features.
The Galaxy A15 was launched in early 2024 with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software onboard. In June 2024, it received some additional features and improvements with the One UI 6.1 update. After One UI 7, it will get three additional major Android OS and One UI updates.
Galaxy A15 (4G) One UI 7 features
One UI 7 is the first major software update for the Galaxy A15. It brings a major UI redesign with smoother and more playful animations and transitions, new stock app icons, new widgets, new widget styling and customization options, and a vertical scrolling app drawer. It also introduces a new battery icon in the status bar and a new charging animation.
Samsung has also introduced Now Bar, a new UI element that displays ongoing acitivities like maps navigation, media playback, Samsung Health workouts, sports scores for live matches, stopwatch, and timer. It appears on the lock screen, as a pill-shaped chip in the status bar, and at the top of the Notifications screen.
The update also brings new and improved stock apps from Samsung. The Camera app has received a redesign that focuses on improving one-handed usage. Samsung Internet has received new features, too. The built-in image and video editors have received new features as well.
