Samsung confirms July 9 Unpacked event with a tri-fold hint

The date for Samsung's next Unpacked event had been rumored before, and it's now been officially confirmed by the company. Samsung today announced that it will hold an Unpacked event on July 9 in Brooklyn, New York City.

We'll see the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 being unveiled at this event, alongside the Galaxy Watch 8 and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra. Samsung may also have hinted at the long-awaited tri-fold phone in its announcement today.

Samsung makes multiple hints at the “ever-expanding Galaxy ecosystem” which might suggest that the company aims to talk more about its tri-fold phone. While there's no indication that it will be launched immediately, it's possible that the company might talk about it, much like it talked about the Galaxy S25 Edge at the January Unpacked event.

Speculation aside, the new foldables, wearables, and the evolution of Galaxy AI will most certainly be on the menu at Unpacked on July 9 in Brooklyn. While much has already been leaked about these new devices, including renders and prices, it'll still be worth tuning into the event, which you'll be able to do via Samsung.com and the company's official YouTube channel.
