Samsung finally releases the stable One UI 7 update in the US

Samsung started rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update earlier this week. April 7 saw the update being rolled out in a handful of markets, including the company's home country of South Korea. It didn't release the update for users in the United States at that time.

The company had previously confirmed that eligible Galaxy devices will start receiving the update in the US on April 10. No reason was provided for this delay, but be that as it may, at least the company has stuck to its word and started rolling out the update today.

One UI 7 is available in the US starting today

Samsung will only be releasing the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the first phase. Yes, there are dozens of One UI 7 eligible devices, but they will all get the update later. The company is initially prioritizing its 2024 flagship phones.

Those who own these devices in the United States should start to see the update notification on pop up on their devices today, if it hasn't already. They will then be able to enjoy everything that Android 15 brings to the table, and many of the new features that Samsung has introduced with One UI 7.

This includes a brand new visual identity for the custom skin, new widgets, powerful customization options, enhanced AI features, and much more. Samsung went back to the drawing board for One UI 7 and overhauled it completely, that shows in the fit and finish of the update.

The Galaxy S24 is the first to get the update in the US, and the other eligible devices in the first phase are likely to get the notification very shortly.
