Samsung S95F, S90F, S85F OLED TV features

The flagship model, the Samsung S95F, uses Samsung Display’s fourth-generation QD-OLED panel, which is brighter and has a higher refresh rate (144Hz vs. 165Hz) compared to the firm's third-generation panels that we saw in its predecessor, the S95D. It also features the new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor.

The S90F and the S85F also use Samsung Display’s QD-OLED panels, but there’s no information on which generation of screens they use. While the former offers a 144Hz refresh rate, the latter offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The S90F uses the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, and the S85F uses the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor.

However, the 83-inch models feature LG Display’s OLED panels, which have a WRGB sub-pixel structure as opposed to the RGB sub-pixel structure offered by Samsung Display’s OLED panel. It may perform significantly differently compared to the Samsung Display's QD-OLED panels.

While the S85F and S90F have a glossy surface, the S95F comes with the Glare Free 2.0 technology, an upgraded version of the Glare Free technology we saw with the S95D, and we have found it to be a breakthrough in cutting down reflections. All TVs come with Tizen OS-based One UI with Vision AI, which offers many AI-powered features. Samsung will also offer OS updates to these TVs for seven years.
