Those affordable Samsung Galaxy Buds are almost here

Samsung is one big step closer to releasing a new pair of earbuds. The so-called Galaxy Buds Core have again shown up online, but this time, it was through Samsung's website instead of regulatory filings.

Support pages for the upcoming earbuds, model number SM-R410, are now live on several Samsung portals, including in India, Russia, Turkey, and the UAE (via XpertPick). Interestingly, the Galaxy Buds FE are no longer available/in stock in any of these markets except Turkey. Coincidence?

The SM-R410 model number is next in line after the SM-400 (Buds FE). This is one reason why the SM-R410 earbuds, a.k.a. Galaxy Buds Core, are believed to succeed or even replace the existing Galaxy Buds FE.

The Galaxy Buds Core might be Samsung's next budget solution. Samsung has used the Core brand for budget phones in the past, so it's logical to assume that the Buds Core will be aimed at the lower-cost market.

One possible theory is that these earbuds are called the Galaxy Buds Core rather than the Galaxy Buds FE 2 because they have a new design. Who knows?! They may even have a stemmed form factor similar to the premium Buds 3 series. This is just speculation and has yet to be confirmed.

What has been previously confirmed by regulatory filings is that the Galaxy Buds Core earbuds and charging case have bigger batteries than the Buds FE and all other wireless earbuds in Samsung's lineup. Once again, this could hint at a redesign.

For now, we will have to wait for more information to emerge. The Galaxy Buds Core earbuds haven't been in the news much so far, and plenty of questions remain unanswered.

Nevertheless, given these recent entries on Samsung's portals in several countries, the Galaxy Buds Core might be just around the corner. They could be unveiled at Samsung's summer Unpacked event.

In markets where the Galaxy Buds FE are still available and in stock, you can buy them for $99 or less, depending on whether you find them at a discount. Pricing details for the upcoming Galaxy Buds Core are unknown.
