Today is the day we've all been waiting for. Samsung will start rolling out the much awaited One UI 7 update to the public. Fans have been very patient as the company has taken its sweet time in delivering one of its biggest updates yet.
As you look forward to receiving the update notification on your One UI 7 eligible devices in the near future, it's worth checking out our latest video on all of the reasons why you should be excited about the new Samsung firmware update.
One UI 7 to start rolling out later today
Samsung has made a whole host of design and functionality improvements in One UI 7. This includes a redesigned quick panel with a wealth of customization options to personalize the experience. Similar changes have also been made to the notifications panel which now stacks up multiple notifications from individual apps for a cleaner appearance.
The app launcher's easier to scroll through and the alphabetical scroll well on the right side makes it super easy to find a specific app, particularly if you tend to have a lot of apps installed on your phone.
The completely redesigned camera UI is one of the most exciting changes in One UI 7. All of the controls are positioned at the bottom of the screen which eases one-handed usability on devices with larger screens. LOG video recording is a new feature that One UI 7 brings and will delight budding videographers.
You can't talk about a major One UI update now without mentioning Galaxy AI, and One UI 7 brings several new Galaxy AI features that we first saw on the Galaxy S25 series. This includes the Audio Eraser, a new version of Photo assist, Transcript assist, and more.
There's still a lot more to unpack in the latest iteration, so do check out our YouTube video, which also includes one feature that you should perhaps not be too excited about. Either way, keep your eyes peeled for the One UI 7 update notification to arrive on your device starting today.
