Windows 11's File Explorer is getting visual updates, and you probably won’t even notice them
Microsoft seems to be improving File Explorer visually, but the upgrades are ironically so subtle, you might not even notice them.
While there sometimes isn't a lot that Windows users can see eye-to-eye on, there seems to be a pretty universal consensus that Windows File Explorer isn't good enough. Although it's undoubtedly been an integral part of Windows for decades now, and Microsoft has been consistently directing its efforts toward improving it, the application is still nowhere near as robust or customizable as it should be.
