You don’t need to waste time filling forms at Samsung repair centers now

If you've ever taken your device in for servicing at a Samsung repair center, you might find filling out the forms to check your device in to be a very cumbersome endeavor. Surely there had to be a better way to handle it.

Finally, there is. Samsung is enhancing convenience through QR and NFC-enabled support for faster and more simpler check ins at Samsung repair centers.

Samsung has announced the launch of the One UI 8 beta program. It's currently available on the Galaxy S25 series only and in limited markets, but the coming days should see it being expanded to more eligible devices.

New feature is available on devices running Android 10 and up

Samsung's official announcement for the One UI 8 beta mentioned that the company now offers QR and NFC-enabled support at its repair centers. This means that you no longer have to fill out registration forms at the centers. You'll be able to register your device using QR codes or NFC instead, thereby saving a lot of time.

The company mentions that this feature is accessible through the Samsung Account on your device. It's available on all Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 10 or higher, so you don't necessarily need to have a latest device running One UI 8 to use this feature.

This feature is currently available in 36 markets, including the United States, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Spain, taiwan, South Africa, and South Korea.
