Last week, AOC unveiled two monitors featuring Samsung Display’s QD-OLED display panels. One of them was the Q27G40SDE. Now, the brand has announced a slightly modified variant of that monitor. It has the model number Q27G4SD.
The only difference between the two is that, while the former has a stand that is adjustable only for tilt, the latter has a stand that is adjustable for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot, making it more ergonomic and comfortable to play or work on.
AOC Q27G4SD features and specifications
The AOC Q27G4SD has the same display specifications as the AOC Q27G40SDE. It means that the new monitor has Samsung Display’s 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel. It features QHD resolution, 360Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth with 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

AOC says that it has a typical brightness of 250 nits and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Just like most other monitors featuring the South Korean tech giant’s QD-OLED screens, this one too comes with the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. Currently, there's no information if it supports AMD FreeSync or Nvdia G-Sync.
As for ports, you get two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Unfortunately, there are no USB ports onboard. AOC hasn’t announced the price or availability details of the monitor yet. Hopefully, the brand will announce those details in the next few weeks.
