Here’s where you can watch the official Galaxy S25 Edge unveiling

For the first time in years, Samsung wants to expand its premium smartphone lineup by releasing a new Galaxy S model. By now, it probably needs no introduction, especially after all the teasers at Unpacked and MWC 2025, where nobody could touch it. The device is called the Galaxy S25 Edge, and Samsung will soon unveil it at a virtual launch event anyone can watch live.

Samsung will officially introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge as its slimmest slab-type smartphone yet on May 12 at 8 PM ET / May 13 at 2 AM CEST. Here's where you can watch it.

The launch event will be streamed on Samsung's website and through the official Samsung YouTube channel. On May 12 / May 13, depending on your timezone, you will be able to watch the live Galaxy S25 Edge unveiling below.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is undoubtedly unusual. It's the slimmest Samsung slab-type phone in years and employs new advanced materials, including Corning's latest Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection.

Unlike the other three Galaxy S25 phones, which have at least three rear-facing cameras, the Galaxy S25 Edge has two. However, the main sensor boasts a 200MP resolution.

In its recent pre-event announcement, Samsung spoke very highly of the Galaxy S25 Edge, and we will be eager to put the company's claims to the test. Samsung says the phone “unlocks a new era of growth for the mobile industry.”

The company also called the Galaxy S25 Edge “a powerful AI companion and an engineering marvel.” Indeed, Samsung must have put all its expertise and use of premium materials to the test when it developed this ultra-slim phone.

And, of course, Samsung used every opportunity to promote Galaxy AI. The phone should run One UI 7 and have the same AI features as the rest of the S25 series.
