Mozilla is axing another project that was a perfect fit for a company whose founding mission is to make the web better. Next week, on June 26 2025, the Fakespot Deep Fake Detector extension, which lets users vet content to gauge is it was more likely to be made by a human or generated for a human, will stop working.
