The first beta version of One UI 8 was released yesterday for the Galaxy S25 series in select countries. As usual, this new version of One UI brings several new features, including deeper integration with Galaxy Buds. This integration was not mentioned by Samsung in its official announcement or the full One UI 8 changelog.
Access Galaxy Buds settings from One UI 8 Settings app
One UI 8 brings easier access to your Galaxy Buds' settings. When the earbuds are paired to your Galaxy phone (or tablet), you can access their settings directly from the phone's Settings app. You can see a Galaxy Buds shortcut between the name of the user and the Connections sub-menu. Tapping the name of your Galaxy Buds takes you to the Galaxy Wearable app where you can access all the related settings and options.

This could be an easier way to access Galaxy Buds settings when you are already inside the Settings app. You can also access the most important Galaxy Buds settings, such as ANC and Ambeint mode, and view the battery charge of the earbuds and the charging case by long-pressing the volume slider in the Quick Panel. However, this is not a new feature, as you could already do that on devices running One UI 7.0.
The integration of Galaxy Buds settings in the Settings app is similar to bhow iPhone users can access AirPods settings from the iPhone's Settings app.
The new feature doesn't work on all Galaxy Buds models, though, as the original Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Buds Live don't seem to support it. Maybe Samsung will add support for those models in the future beta versions of One UI 8.0.
