Samsung is rolling out a new update to the Samsung Capture app for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, the app that takes screenshots and provides multiple features for doing so, including the ability to take scrolling screenshots, AI Select, Smart Select, Draw, Add Tags, and Share.
The latest update comes bearing version 5.9.62.2, and according to the change log, it brings two changes (via @Wvisioncreation). First, “You can select an area immediately after executing Al Select/Smart Select.” Second, the app now “Supports up to two pinned images on the screen.”

AI Select gets faster
Earlier, when you took a screenshot and tapped on the AI Select button, the app analysed the screenshot for a few seconds, predicted and selected the area in the screenshot that you wanted to act on, and then provided you with the option to manually select an area on the screen.
Going by the change log, it looks like now when you tap on the AI Select button, the app analyses the screenshot faster, which means that it takes less time to predict and select an area in the screenshot to act on. With that, it also takes less time to provide the option to select an area on the screen manually.
You can now pin two screenshots on the display
If you use Samsung Capture’s AI Select, you might know that it lets you pin a screenshot on the display, a great productivity feature. Well, the new version of the app lets you pin not one but two screenshots on the display, which should improve your productivity.
To update Samsung Capture, go to the Galaxy Store » Menu » Updates. We haven't received the update on our devices in India, which means that the brand hasn't started rolling it out widely.
