How to update Galaxy S21 FE to the May 2025 security patch?
To update your Galaxy S21 FE to the May 2025 security patch, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install, or head to our firmware section, download the firmware, and then, using a Windows PC with the Odin application, install it manually on your device. We expect Samsung to roll out the update to other variants of the device in the next few days.
Samsung is also developing Android 16-based One UI 8.0, and the Galaxy S21 FE is eligible to get it. Earlier this week, the brand opened its beta program for the Galaxy S25 series. However, there’s no information about when the company will release its stable version. If you have a Galaxy Watch, you might take a look at Samsung’s upcoming Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch.
