Samsung launches new free storage offer for Galaxy S25 Ultra

If you want to buy a new premium Samsung phone, the brand-new Galaxy S25 Edge isn't the only one with a free storage offer. Samsung has launched a similar deal for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This free storage offer for the Galaxy S25 Ultra is valid for the 512GB and 1TB options. It also works with or without a trade-in discount and for all seven color options. See all the details below.

As of this writing, Samsung's e-shop in the USA prevents you from buying the 256GB Galaxy S25 Ultra. Instead, you can buy the 512GB model for the price of the 256GB one, i.e., $1,299. Alternatively, you can buy the 1TB Galaxy S25 Ultra for the price of the 512GB model: $1,419.

These prices are available with and without a trade-in for a limited time. Galaxy S25 Ultra trade-in deals go as high as $630, so, in theory, you could buy the 512GB Ultra flagship for as low as $669.

Even though the Galaxy S25 Edge is six months newer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the latter arguably remains the better phone if you value specs over design. Both have titanium frames, but the Galaxy S25 Ultra has the S Pen, a superior camera setup, and a bigger battery.

And while the Galaxy S25 Edge is available only in three colors, you can pick from four standard and three online-exclusive finishes when you buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the latter phone is considerably thicker.

The Ultra model has a larger 6.9-inch display with an anti-reflective coating. It is powered by the same premium Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as the S25 Edge, but it might offer better sustained performance because it isn't as thin. That remains to be determined once the S25 Edge is widely available. The Edge has a redesigned vapor chamber that could work in its favor.

All things considered, you can't go wrong with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. And with this free storage offer, it's even more attractive.

On the other hand, if you are looking for an ultra-thin and lightweight phone that uses both a titanium frame and a Ceramic 2 screen, the Galaxy S25 Edge is unbeatable.
