One UI 7.0 has been the most problematic software update from Samsung in the recent past. After getting delayed by months, the update contained a critical bug that forced the South Korean firm to temporarily pull the update from its servers. The update was released a few days later, but even this release hasn't been without its issues, especially for Galaxy S24 users.
Galaxy S24 users facing issues in downloading One UI 7
Some Galaxy S24 users are reporting that they are facing issues in downloading the One UI 7.0 update. Users have posted on Reddit, X, and other social media platforms that the download process is pausing on its own and their phone is displaying the “Couldn't install the update” message. This is also stopping them from using their phone normally, as the error message is popping up on the screen multiple times.

The reason behind this issue could be that Samsung's servers are facing difficulties seeding the update for millions of smartphones worldwide.
Maybe the company didn't properly anticipate the server capacity it needed to release the update for all eligible devices globally or some users might have an unstable cellular or Wi-Fi network. Whichever way you look at it, it doesn't look good for Samsung.
How to the fix the One UI 7 download problem?
Some people solved this issue by pausing the update's download process, restarting the phone, and then restarting the download. However, this solution doesn't seem to be working for everyone. Even after restarting their phone, some users claim that the download isn't progressing.
You can switch to a different Wi-Fi network or switch to a cellular network to check if the download resumes. Another solution is to download the update using Smart Switch.
Samsung resumed the rollout of the One UI 7 update in South Korea late last week after fixing a critical bug. Today, the update reached the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in more global markets, including India, Middle East, Europe, and the USA.
