Stable One UI 7 update released for Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 in India

Samsung has finally released the stable One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in India. The update brings dozens of new features, an improved UI design, new and improved Galaxy AI features and other optimizations to the foldable phones.

The stable One UI 7.0 update is now available for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in India. The update comes with firmware version F956BXXU2BYD9 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The updates have a download size of around 5GB for non-beta testers and around 400MB to 500MB for beta testers. The update also includes the April 2025 security patch.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 6 or the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and live in India, you can now download the new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your device.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 were launched in the second half of 2024 with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. Samsung promised to offer seven major Android OS updates to the devices and it has now released one of those seven updates. It will get six more Android OS updates (up to Android 21).
