What’s changingIn February, we introduced Deep Research in Gemini, which can bring hours of research to your fingertips in mere minutes by exploring complex topics on your behalf and presenting its findings in a detailed, easy-to-read report. This week at Google I/O, we introduced several enhancements for Deep Research:Deep Research can now use 2.5 Flash experimental. Gemini Advanced users continue to have access to 2.5 Pro (experimental), our most intelligent model for complete reasoning. You can upload PDFs and images directly into Deep Research so your research reports can draw from a combination of public information and details that you provide. You can also link documents from Google Drive.Gemini will proactively suggest related resources in your report to deepen your knowledge, like interactive charts, planning simulators, and additional deep dives into relevant topics.You can also import, edit, and refine Deep Research reports directly into Canvas before exporting to Docs for further collaboration.
