US Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 One UI 7 update released

Samsung's most recent foldable phones are receiving the One UI 7 update in the United States. The company and its carrier partners in the country have released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The previous generation of devices have already received the update, with Verizon sending out One UI 7 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 most recently. Other carriers have released it already and the unlocked variants have received it as well.

Samsung is rolling out firmware version F956USQU1AXFD for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and F741U1UES1AXIB for the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The update brings Android 15 as well as the latest security patch for April 2025.

The stable One UI 7 update was first released for the Galaxy S24 series in the United States on April 10. The rollout was briefly halted globally as Samsung ironed out for bugs, but it resumed the update's release a few days later.

Users will appreciate that there hasn't been a major delay between the update landing on unlocked units before ultimately being released by carrier partners. The latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 update has been released by all major and minor carriers, including Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Comcast, Xfinity Mobile, MetroPCS, and US Cellular.

The latest firmware releases are now available for download over-the-air. Alternatively, they're also available from our firmware section for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. If the update notification hasn't popped up on your device for some reason, just go to the Settings app > Software update > Download and install to manually pull it.
