Verizon Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 One UI 7 update rolling out now

One UI 7 is slowly but surely making its way to eligible devices across various markets. The rollout tends to take a bit longer for carrier-locked devices in the United States, but typically not more than a few days compared to unlocked units.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 owners on Verizon in the United States should keep an eye out for the update notification now as One UI 7 is rolling out on the carrier variant of these devices.

Verizon is rolling out firmware version F946USQU6EYD9 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and F731USQU6EYD9 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It brings the One UI 7 update in addition to Android 15. The firmware also comes with the April 2025 security patch.

The update notification should have already appeared on these devices by now, but if it hasn't, you can always manually pull it by going to the Settings app, followed by Software update > Download and install.

Verizon has generally been quick to release the One UI 7 update for eligible devices on its network. AT&T subscribers haven't had such luck, though, as it appears to be taking a bit longer. Subscribers have taken to various online platforms to express their displeasure at the delay.

One UI 7 brings a new visual identity to Samsung's devices, in addition to all of the new features that Android 15 adds. Samsung has also introduced some new Galaxy AI features with this update as it continues to build out the artificial intelligence capabilities of its devices.
