Samsung Vision AI is taking over the world, one landmark at a time

Samsung wants that when people think of an AI TV, they think about Samsung. Its 2025 TV lineup, unveiled earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, is equipped with Vision AI, which deeply integrates artificial intelligence across many features of the TVs.

The company has launched a new marketing campaign to drive the point home that “AI TV = Samsung,” and that involves promoting Vision AI through some of the world's top landmarks, in a bid to get customers interesting in AI on TVs to buy one of its latest models.

Samsung wants its TVs to become synonymous with AI

Samsung is promoting Vision AI through a comprehensive outdoor advertising campaign that includes some of the world's most recognizable landmarks. These landmarks include Times Square in New York City, USA, Piccadilly Circus in London, UK, Shinsegae Department Store in Seoul, South Korea, and Hongyi International Plaza in Shanghai, China.

These campaigns will run for several months throughout this year to familiarize people with Vision AI. The videos that will run on digital signage at these locations will highlight some of the top features of Vision AI, such as Click to Search, Universal Gestures, Live Translate, AI Upscaling, and more.

Click to Search is a standout feature of Vision AI. It works much the same way that Circle to Search works on Samsung's One UI 7 phones. The feature provides information of whatever you're looking at on the TV, such as details about the actor or the price of an object.

Live Translate is another highly useful feature as it can generate substitles in real time, even for broadcasts that are live. This feature is supported in up to seven different languages currently.
