Samsung unveiled its 2025 new monitor lineup at the Consumer Electronics Show 2025 in Las Vegas earlier this year. It raised the bar for gaming monitors considerably with the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF), which Samsung claims is the first OLED gaming monitor in the world with a whopping 500Hz refresh rate.
Availability of this monitor has been limited so far, but the company is gradually making it available in more markets. Customers in a handful of countries can now go ahead and purchase Samsung's latest and greatest gaming monitor.
Experience responsive gameplay like never before
The Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a QHD resolution and a bonkers refresh rate of 500Hz. It's the first OLED monitor with such a high refresh rate, making it the perfect choise for esports and high-frame-rate gaming. It features support for NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD Free Sync Premium Pro, and VESA DisplayHDR.
A high refresh rate is particularly useful in competitive first-person shooter games like Valorant or Counter-Strike. While most pro gamers typically use a 240Hz refresh rate display, Samsung has come out with a monitor that essentially doubles that, providing them with responsive gameplay like they've never experienced before.
Samsung has made the Odyssey OLED G6 available for pre-order in several markets across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. It will also be made available in other countries through a phased rollout. The monitor is priced around 1,500 Singaporean dollars in the city-state, which is the equivalent of just over $1,100.
